Gorgeous piece! This one is definitely a doll that can be beautifully displayed on its own and tell a story. Wonderful detailing and fabrics, especially the beautiful high quality red velvet coat. As always Brooklyn Belle and KC customer-service was top-notch.

While not as super-stunning to me as the other characters in this collection, the King has amazing and intricate detail in his embroidery and other fine embellishments that convey the amount of time spent on each piece in this limited edition. Well worth getting for the KC and/or Alice in Wonderland collector to compliment your other pieces.

The King finally arrived today anf he is fabulous. I know many were skeptical as with his white hair and beard, they feared he would give the impression of Santa. But i can happily say, with the curls they added to both his hair and beard, he stands apart. He is massive. The largest piece of this collection. If you have the Queen, do not give second thoughts- she needs her King to truly shine (even though she is in charge of this romance.) Arrived safe and sound and without issue. Thank you so much!
